Ruth entered the profession in 2017 and quickly established herself as a very skilled and popular Celebrant. Having worked in PR, Theatre & Music for over 30 years, she was involved in creative projects as a writer, performer and producer. She is a professional, confident public speaker who has worked with people of all ages and from all walks of life.

Ruth is also a warm, artistic person with a fascination for people’s stories. Passionate about Celebrant-led funerals, she finds the work more interesting and fulfilling than any role she has ever had. Helping  families through some of their darkest times and ultimately  enabling  them to say goodbye to their loved one in a  memorable, meaningful  way is incredibly rewarding.

Ruth works in a very sensitive yet informal way with families, gently gathering everything she needs to create the perfect service.
