A very personal approach to funerals – your day, your way.

A Civil Funeral Ceremony is a dignified event to commemorate and celebrate the life of your loved one. A completely personal, unique tribute to reflect the wishes of the family and of the deceased.

In order to create a meaningful, memorable occasion, I spend time with you and your family, gathering information on your loved one. We choose together any music, songs, reading, poems, props that will help to tell the story on the day. The service can be completely free of religious content but, if you would like to include hymns and prayers, they can be accommodated too.

Once my first draft is complete, you receive a copy to examine and make any adjustments until you are completely happy with everything, after all, this ceremony belongs to you and your family. You can then feel at ease knowing your loved one’s life will be truly celebrated and the ceremony conducted in a fitting and respectful manner.

On the day, I’ll be there to greet you then lead you through this highly emotional occasion with quiet strength and empathy.  Together, we create a compassionate environment in which everyone can express their emotions freely and will feel glad to have been part of such a special tribute to a much cherished life.
